UPDATE FROM MARIE ON NOVEMBER 18, 2017:
My sweet mom went to be with Jesus on September 1, 2017. We thank God for His promises and for the certain expectation that we will see her again in Heaven. Thank you for your prayers and support. This has been a time of adjustment following her memorial service.
Meetings and newsletters were suspended during June, July, August, and September, while my mom was in hospice care.
We will resume HKI meetings in Brownsburg, Indiana, on Saturday, October 14, 2017.
TE FROM MARIE ON JULY 29, 2017:
Since May, I have not written a “Words of Hope” newsletter. My lovely mother has been in hospice care. She is suffering from end-stage mitral valve stenosis. My time, focus, and energy has been on her comfort. I have not been able to concentrate on writing. Though exhausting for the family members who have been with her round-the-clock, we serve as an act of love and loyalty to our Godly mother who has loved us unconditionally. She has a sweet personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Her life is in God’s hands, and we are grateful for the hope of eternal life in Heaven. My mom and dad, known to all as Nana and Pop, have been married for seventy-one years. It is precious to watch as my dad tenderly takes care for her.
In His time, I hope to resume writing our newsletters. Your prayers are appreciated.
